The celeb weddings of 2023 took our hearts away this love season
2023 is clearly distinguishing itself as the year of love and holy matrimony. We have been treated to a flurry of gorgeous celebrity weddings in the past couple of months…and the weddings have been nothing short of ethereal.
To look at our favourite divas decked up in their dreamy designer lehengas and bewitching jewellery is almost therapeutic. Each wedding was distinctive and beautiful in its own way. However, one thing which was synonymous across all the weddings, was the fact that all the brides adorned breath-taking natural diamonds as part of their ensemble.
Take a peek at some of our favourite celeb couples who got hitched this year and the alluring real diamonds they sported for their special day.
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul
The worlds of cricket and Bollywood coincide to create this super-cute entanglement. A relatively private affair, which well-suited both Athiya’s and Rahul’s personalities was a treat to witness. (Through the Instagram pictures of course!) Decked in white and gold, Athiya looked absolutely exquisite. Keeping her look fairly minimalistic, Athiya wore Polki – uncut natural diamond jewellery from Birdhichand. She was seen wearing a classic solitaire mangalsutra and she flaunted her natural diamond engagement ring which was a simple round solitaire, along with a diamond wedding band. Oh wait, did we forget to mention that her ring was HUGE? Well played, KL Rahul.
Kiara Advani and Siddharth Malhotra
‘Humari permanent booking hogayi’; an iconic line for an iconic couple. Perhaps one of the most anticipated weddings in Bollywood history, Sid and Kiara took the social media world by storm when they posted their wedding pictures on Instagram. And after looking at the photos and videos, we can certainly say that this wedding was the one that everyone dreams to have someday; it was straight out of a fairy tale. And Kiara herself looked like a fairy as she adorned one of the most stunning diamond jewellery sets we have ever seen. It was clearly the highlight of her outfit and was simply impossible to miss. Making a bold statement, a massive emerald-studded natural diamond broad choker hugged Kiara’s neck during her wedding ceremony, as she wore an all-Manish Malhotra look. Kiara paired that with a pear-shaped ring on one hand and her solitaire engagement ring on the other. Kiara also pulled off a diamond maangtikka and a diamond hathphool as well, which is not such a common sight for a bride. Certainly, a look that will go down in history books! Siddharth also looked at his elegant best as he was seen wearing a stunning Polki ring, which complemented his attire perfectly.
Natasa Stankovic and Hardik Pandya
What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than marrying the love of your life (again)? Hardik and Natasa have officially been married since May 2020, but they said their vows again on V-Day 2023. What an amazing gesture to reaffirm the love and solidarity! It was an all-white wedding in Udaipur, and we can’t stop obsessing over how elegant the bride looked. Natasa paired her pearly white wedding gown with a sparkly natural diamond set which shined as bright as her. Her classic Reviere solitaire necklace was minimalistic in nature and had a total of 47 diamonds, and each stone was highlighted to maximize the brilliance, totalling a whopping 79 carats. Her earrings, which perfectly complemented her necklace, were classic solitaire dangler drops, and were around 15 carats. The all-rounder’s wife looked gorgeous all-round!

Rihanna Rewrites the Jewellery Rulebook at Fenty Beauty’s India Debut
In Mumbai, the global icon ditches matchy sets for a bold, curated mix of Indian heritage and high-fashion statements.
When Rihanna arrived in Mumbai for the India launch of Fenty Beauty, she didn’t just make an appearance—she staged a masterclass in modern styling.

The 38-year-old global icon moved seamlessly between two distinct looks across the day, each carrying its own mood and message. For the official launch, she leaned into a soft, feminine aesthetic with a monochrome olive-green ensemble. By night, she pivoted sharply, stepping out in a sleek black dress that dialled up the glamour and edge.
But it wasn’t just the wardrobe changes that caught attention—it was the jewellery. Rihanna skipped the traditional route of wearing a coordinated set and instead curated a layered narrative using pieces from some of India’s most storied and contemporary design houses.
Earrings by Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas:

Her earrings, by Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas, brought a sense of classic regality—rooted, timeless, and quietly commanding. Acting as the anchor, they carried the weight of heritage without overwhelming the look.
Bangles & Rings by Sabyasachi:
On her hands, the interplay continued. Bangles and rings from Sabyasachi Jewellery added a textured, expressive dimension. Studded with tourmalines and layered with intent, these pieces leaned into expressive luxury—bold, unapologetic, and full of personality.

Haath Phool by Manish Malhotra High Jewellery:

Then came the twist: a haath phool by Manish Malhotra High Jewellery. Fluid and slightly theatrical, the piece blended Polki diamonds and rose cuts, introducing a couture sensibility that softened the traditional undertones while adding editorial drama.
Three distinct design languages. One cohesive story.
What Rihanna demonstrated in Mumbai goes beyond styling—it signals a shift. Jewellery is no longer about perfectly matched suites; that idea feels increasingly dated. Instead, the focus is on curation—on creating tension and harmony at the same time. Heritage meets couture. Structure meets fluidity. Maximalism finds balance.

Each piece she wore stood confidently on its own. Yet together, they spoke a single, unified language.
In breaking the “set rule,” Rihanna didn’t just experiment—she redefined. The message is clear: modern jewellery styling isn’t about coordination anymore. It’s about identity.
