KISNA Creates History for India with ‘Run for Swachh Bharat’ Marathon across 57 Cities, Registers Guinness World Record Attempt
KISNA Diamond and Gold Jewellery, a leading brand from the Hari Krishna Group, successfully concluded the landmark 10th edition of the KISNA Diamond Marathon, marking a significant national achievement. In a first-of-its-kind initiative, KISNA organised a marathon simultaneously across 57 cities, making it India’s first jewellery brand to attempt such a large-scale nationwide sporting event. The initiative has been officially registered as a Guinness World Record attempt under the title: “Most cities to coordinate the same 5 km race simultaneously.” The simultaneous execution across multiple cities transformed the marathon into a unified national movement. Held under the theme ‘Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat’, the marathon witnessed over 20,000 registrations nationwide, reinforcing the message of fitness, cleanliness, and civic responsibility. Race categories included 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km, with synchronised starts across participating locations, reflecting seamless coordination and strong community engagement.



The event was graced by Padma Shri Ujjwal Nikam, Member of Parliament, along with Kirit Bhansali, Chairman – GJEPC; Motilal Oswal, Chairman, Motilal Oswal Group; Rajeev Jalota, Advisor – Port Authority; renowned Indian actor Manoj Joshi; and other eminent dignitaries from the Gems and Jewellery industry, adding prestige to the historic occasion. Reaffirming its commitment to nation-building, proceeds from the marathon were dedicated to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
