Shankesh Jewellers Ltd  made a strong debut on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), with its shares opening at Rs 102.20, registering a gain of Rs 9.20, or 9.89%, over its issue price of Rs 93 per share.

Following the positive opening, the stock continued to attract buying interest and was trading at Rs 107.04, up Rs 14.04, or 15.10%, from the issue price. During the trading session, the scrip touched an intraday high of Rs 110.99 and a low of Rs 98.30. Around 30.10 lakh shares had been traded on the counter, indicating active investor participation following the listing.

The company’s public offering had received a positive response from investors. The issue was open for subscription from August 18 to August 20, 2026, and was subscribed 2.80 times. The company had fixed the issue price at Rs 93 per share, at the upper end of its price band of Rs 88–93 per share

The strong listing performance reflects the market’s positive response to Shankesh Jewellers and its business positioning in the organised jewellery segment. The company is engaged in the business of handcrafted gold jewellery, with a focus on creating customised jewellery solutions for its clients.

Shankesh Jewellers caters to customers seeking jewellery that combines traditional craftsmanship with personalised design. Its customisation services allow customers to participate in the design process and obtain jewellery tailored to their individual preferences, occasions and requirements.

The company’s focus on handcrafted gold jewellery places it within a segment where design, craftsmanship and customer relationships remain important differentiators. With consumers increasingly seeking personalised and distinctive jewellery, customisation has emerged as an important part of the jewellery-buying experience.

The positive BSE debut comes against the backdrop of continued investor interest in jewellery and consumer-focused businesses. The 15.10% gain over the issue price on the first trading day marks a strong beginning for Shankesh Jewellers as a listed company and puts the spotlight on its future growth prospects, business expansion and ability to build on its established jewellery operations.

The listing also provides the company with greater visibility in the capital markets while giving investors an opportunity to participate in its growth journey. Market participants will now track the company’s financial performance, expansion plans, operating margins and demand for handcrafted and customised gold jewellery as key indicators of its post-listing performance.
