The strong listing performance reflects the market’s positive response to Shankesh Jewellers and its business positioning in the organised jewellery segment. The company is engaged in the business of handcrafted gold jewellery, with a focus on creating customised jewellery solutions for its clients.

Shankesh Jewellers caters to customers seeking jewellery that combines traditional craftsmanship with personalised design. Its customisation services allow customers to participate in the design process and obtain jewellery tailored to their individual preferences, occasions and requirements.

The company’s focus on handcrafted gold jewellery places it within a segment where design, craftsmanship and customer relationships remain important differentiators. With consumers increasingly seeking personalised and distinctive jewellery, customisation has emerged as an important part of the jewellery-buying experience.

The positive BSE debut comes against the backdrop of continued investor interest in jewellery and consumer-focused businesses. The 15.10% gain over the issue price on the first trading day marks a strong beginning for Shankesh Jewellers as a listed company and puts the spotlight on its future growth prospects, business expansion and ability to build on its established jewellery operations.

The listing also provides the company with greater visibility in the capital markets while giving investors an opportunity to participate in its growth journey. Market participants will now track the company’s financial performance, expansion plans, operating margins and demand for handcrafted and customised gold jewellery as key indicators of its post-listing performance.

CaratLane, a Tata Product, has unveiled its latest Raksha Bandhan campaign, celebrating the unique bond between siblings through a light-hearted story about knowing, understanding, and appreciating the person who has been a constant through every stage of life. Titled “POV: Bhai Knows Best”, the film captures the familiar sibling dynamic with humour and warmth, bringing alive the idea that sometimes, a brother knows exactly what his sister wants, even before she says it.

Set against the backdrop of Raksha Bandhan, the film brings out the playful equation shared by on-screen siblings Ashlesha Thakur & Vedant Sinha where teasing, banter, and unspoken understanding come together to create moments of genuine affection. At the heart of the story is the sister teasing her brother, followed by the brother’s attempt to get his sister the perfect gift, reflecting the little things he knows about her and the years of shared memories that make their bond special.

Saumen Bhaumik, Managing Director, CaratLane, said:

“At the heart of every sibling relationship are years of inside jokes, playful banter, and countless little memories. With this film, we wanted to capture that familiar dynamic in a way that feels real and relatable. Because while siblings may not always say it out loud, there’s always affection beneath the teasing. This Raksha Bandhan, we’re celebrating that bond with thoughtful diamond jewellery starting at Rs 5,000, making the joy of gifting a little more special and accessible.”

With its playful take on the sibling relationship, the campaign brings a contemporary lens to Raksha Bandhan, while reinforcing a simple thought: the best gifts come from the people who know you best. Through humour, warmth and a familiar sibling dynamic, CaratLane celebrates the countless little ways brothers and sisters show up for each other.
