GJEPC Highlights Export Opportunities At Vendor Development Programme For MSEs In Lucknow
The Programme Created Awareness About Government and Corporate Procurement Opportunities, Vendor Registration, Exports and Avenues For Business Growth
GJEPC participated in a two-day Vendor Development Programme for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), organised by the MSME-DFO, Kanpur, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, on 20–21 August 2026 at PHD House, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
The programme aimed to facilitate interaction between MSEs and procurement officials from leading organisations, while creating awareness about Government and corporate procurement opportunities, vendor registration, exports and avenues for business growth.
The programme brought together senior officials from the Government of Uttar Pradesh, MSME-DFO, Export Promotion Bureau and PHDCCI. GJEPC Regional Office, Delhi was invited to conduct a technical session on “Export & Import Procedures of Gems & Jewellery” on 21 August.
Sanjay Madaan, Chief Manager, GJEPC, addressed the participants through a detailed presentation covering the complete export-import procedures for the gems and jewellery sector. He also outlined GJEPC’s initiatives aimed at supporting the growth of the industry, with particular emphasis on the Export Mentorship Programme (EMP).
Madaan encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to participate in the EMP to gain practical knowledge of international trade through structured training at a nominal fee. He also highlighted the benefits available to MSMEs through GJEPC membership and the support provided through the wider MSME ecosystem.
Representatives from GAIL, ECGC, EXIM Bank and IPR also shared information on their respective schemes, services and support mechanisms available to businesses.
More than 80 participants representing various MSMEs and industry sectors attended the programme, gaining insights through technical sessions and direct interactions with Government departments and industry stakeholders.

At the heart of the story is the sister teasing her brother, followed by the brother’s attempt to get his sister the perfect gift, reflecting the little things he knows about her and the years of shared memories that make their bond special.
