Deepika’s journey from Bollywood to Hollywood has been marked by blockbuster performances, including her international debut in XXX: Return of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel. Beyond the screen, she has been a powerful advocate for mental health through her Live Love Laugh Foundation, breaking barriers and starting conversations in India and abroad.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which oversees the Walk of Fame, praised her for “bridging cinematic worlds with grace and excellence.” Her star will be placed among some of the most iconic names in film history — a testament to her enduring legacy.
The ceremony also saw congratulatory messages pour in from fellow Indian actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, as well as global figures including Hugh Jackman and Reese Witherspoon, who applauded her versatility and influence.
As the first Indian actress of her generation to receive this honour, Deepika Padukone’s recognition marks a significant milestone for Indian representation on the global stage. Her name now joins the legendary sidewalk, inspiring a new era of South Asian talent in global entertainment.
