Yuliya Kutovaya Debuts ‘Dilorom’ and ‘Shibirma’ at Red Sea Film Festival
Inspired by Alisher Navoi’s Seven Planets and the architectural motifs of Bolo Hauz Mosque, the Collections Debut at the Red Sea Film Festival
Jewelry designer and founder of Yuliya Kutovaya Jewelry, Yuliya Kutovaya, has reinterpreted one of her signature collections, Shibirma, and introduced a new line of elegant jewelry titled Dilorom, inspired by the aesthetics of Eastern poetry.
At the heart of both collections lies a sculptural sense of volume, the expressive color of gemstones, intricate ornamental patterns and a refined fusion of contemporary aesthetics with the classical decorative art of Uzbekistan.
The pieces are harmoniously styled and crafted using a variety of artistic techniques.
Dilorom

The collection is inspired by the image of the beauty Dilorom from Alisher Navoi’s epic poem Seven Planets, as well as the opera Dilorom by Uzbek composer Mukhtar Ashrafi, created based on this literary masterpiece.
The design concept centers on love and tenderness — reflected in the color palette of gemstones and the airy forms of the jewelry, adorned with delicate arabesques.
Shibirma

The inspiring motif behind this collection is the story of traditional openwork volumetric earrings that, at the beginning of the 20th century, were traditionally presented to a bride as a wedding gift.
Reinterpreting this historical design, Yuliya complemented the concise silhouette of the earrings with an ornament echoing the carved wooden column pattern of the renowned Bolo Hauz Mosque in the historic city of Bukhara.
The international show premiere of the jewelry took place at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia.
Renowned Uzbek model and festival guest Vazira John chose Shibirma and Dilorom earrings for the opening and closing ceremonies, showcasing the pieces on the red carpet.

“The jewelry looks striking and luxurious, telling the story of our history and culture. Elements of national design recall the tradition of passing precious pieces down from generation to generation. Vazira John’s appearance became a moment when this tradition found a contemporary voice and resonated in a new way. Shibirma Red is my story about the beauty of Bukhara, and Dilorom is about love and poetic heritage”, Yuliya Kutovaya says.
