JGTD Opens In Dubai Today As Industry Races To Lock In Peak Season Orders
JGTD Delivers Three Days Of B2B Sourcing Across Fine Jewellery, Gemstones and Technology, With Buyers Wrapping Up Year-End Purchasing and 2027 Inventory
Middle East’s premier B2B sourcing platform, the Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) fair, opened its fifth edition on Tuesday at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) in Expo City. Running through October 29 the three-day event arrives at a critical calendar juncture as global trade buyers race to lock in peak year-end orders and finalize 2027 inventory strategies.
Jointly organized by Informa Markets and Italian Exhibition Group SpA (IEG), the fair hosts nearly 300 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions. Sourcing buyers from over 100 international markets are visiting dedicated regional pavilions—including Hong Kong, India, Italy, Thailand, and Türkiye—focusing on fine jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, and manufacturing technology.
Co-located as part of the second Dubai Diamond Week (October 26–29), the event works in tandem with the 7th Dubai Diamond Conference to translate high-level industry discussions directly into trade order contracts on the show floor.
Organizers and key partners—including the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and the Dubai Jewellery Group (DJG)—highlighted the show’s role in reinforcing Dubai’s position as an indispensable strategic hub for global jewellery commerce amid ongoing market volatility.
