Indriya unveils ‘Orizon’ at Lakmē Fashion Week X FDCI, in partnership with Amit Aggarwal

A study of memory, material, and movement

At Lakmē Fashion Week 2026, Amit Aggarwal didn’t just stage a show; he engineered a sensory revolution. In collaboration with Indriya, Orizon is a masterclass in “heritage in motion”—a collection where the ghost of tradition meets the pulse of the future.

Forget dusty archives. Aggarwal takes the soul of vintage Banarasi and handloom and breathes them into architectural, sculptural forms. It’s not about breaking the past; it’s about giving it a new skeleton.

Amit Aggarwal  said, “My work has always explored how tradition can transform. In Orizon, that transformation unfolds through sculptural forms, engineered textiles, and unconventional techniques that mirror India’s own evolution. “India is evolving rapidly, and our identity is expanding with it. I believe heritage survives by constantly evolving… adapting, absorbing new influences, and continuing to inspire new narratives.”

  • The Material: Molded textiles that carry memory but look like they’ve arrived from 2050.
  • The Philosophy: Heritage survives only by evolving. Aggarwal treats fabric with reverence, then recontextualizes it into silhouettes that feel radically new.
  • The Emotion: It’s quiet disruption. The clothes don’t scream; they hold a “sensory dialogue” with the room.

The collaboration with Indriya brought a weightless brilliance to the runway. Legacy stones like Polki and diamonds were reimagined through engineered settings.

  • Visual Motion: Tumbled emeralds and blush-toned stones that catch light in unexpected, flickering ways.
  • Structure: Pieces that feel deeply dimensional yet surprisingly light.

Orizon is for the woman who is grounded yet futuristic. It’s couture that moves with the wearer, proving that the strongest statement isn’t made by the loudest voice, but by the most refined presence.

The Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Awards 2026, held in Mumbai on 24 June, brought together the biggest names in entertainment, with fashion and jewellery taking centre stage. While couture made headlines, it was the carefully curated jewels—ranging from classic diamonds to striking emeralds—that completed the evening’s most memorable looks.

Aditi Rao Hydari: Timeless Elegance with Indriya

The face of Indriya – Aditya Birla Jewellery embodied understated glamour, complementing her ensemble with elegant diamond and emerald-inspired pieces associated with the brand’s signature aesthetic. The partnership further reinforces Indriya’s positioning around its “Sparkle Like No Other” philosophy and celebration of exceptional brilliance.

Ananya Panday: Contemporary Minimalism

Known for her modern red-carpet choices, Ananya Panday opted for a sleek, contemporary look accentuated by minimal jewellery styling, allowing clean lines and sophisticated detailing to take precedence over maximal ornamentation. Her appearance reflected the growing preference among younger stars for refined, wearable luxury.

Sharvari Wagh: Contemporary statement jewellery

Embraced a modern, youthful glamour aesthetic with sleek styling and understated elegance, reinforcing her status as one of Bollywood’s rising fashion icons.

Pooja Hegde: Modern Indian Glamour

Pooja Hegde showcased contemporary interpretations of Indian glamour, pairing their ensembles with refined jewellery choices that highlighted craftsmanship without overwhelming their fashion statements. Their appearances reaffirmed the growing trend toward versatile, statement-led adornment.

Jewellery Trends That Defined the Evening

Beyond individual celebrity appearances, several key trends emerged from the red carpet:

  • Classic diamonds remained the ultimate style staple, reinforcing their enduring appeal.
  • Emerald accents and coloured gemstones continued to gain prominence among younger celebrities.
  • Minimalist luxury proved as influential as maximalist glamour, with many stars opting for fewer but more impactful pieces.
  • Heritage-inspired craftsmanship found contemporary expression through modern silhouettes and styling.

As Indian red carpets evolve, jewellery is increasingly becoming an extension of personal identity rather than merely an accessory. The Style Icons Awards 2026 demonstrated how celebrities are embracing pieces that combine craftsmanship, individuality and storytelling, ensuring that every diamond, gemstone and silhouette contributes to a larger narrative of modern Indian luxury.
