Diamonds Shine Bright At Women In Entertainment Night With De Beers
Star-Studded Evening At Fairmont Mumbai Celebrates Influential Women Across Film and Entertainment
Diamonds took centre stage at Women in Entertainment, a glamorous evening hosted in partnership with De Beers on March 25, 2026, at Fairmont Mumbai. The red-carpet affair celebrated women who are shaping and redefining the landscape of film, television, and beyond.

The evening saw a distinguished lineup of celebrated personalities, including Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Ananya Panday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Huma Qureshi, Jyotika, Zoya Akhtar, Kiran Rao, Sonam Bajwa, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Anaita Shroff Adajania. Each attendee dazzled in exquisite diamond jewellery, adding brilliance to an evening defined by elegance, influence, and individuality.

Blending glamour with purpose, the event underscored the evolving narrative of women in entertainment—honouring their achievements while spotlighting their role in shaping the industry’s future.
Shweta Harit, Senior Vice President at De Beers Group and Global CEO of Forevermark Diamond Jewellery, said:

“Platforms like Women in Entertainment highlight why natural diamonds continue to hold powerful meaning in a modern world. Formed by nature over time, their rarity, authenticity, and enduring value make them far more than symbols of beauty; they reflect individuality, purpose, and achievements that stand the test of time. At De Beers, our association reflected a shared commitment to celebrating voices that are shaping culture with confidence and originality.
As the jewellery partner for the evening, Forevermark showcased some of the world’s most beautiful natural diamonds, bringing a contemporary expression of glamour and personal storytelling to the red carpet, a reminder that the most meaningful luxury is always rooted in something real.”
Acclaimed actor-producer Samantha Ruth Prabhu delivered the keynote address at the event, shining a light on gender parity, creative freedom, and the responsibilities of the industry’s most powerful voices. “Because we are gathered here to celebrate and hopefully also be real with each other, I want to say something about the industry we are building together,
Samantha Ruth Prabhu said in her speech. “I dream of the day when a woman running the show in front of the camera or behind it stops being a talking point and starts being just the way things are. I dream of the day when we stop calling stories female-led as though that is a category, a risk, worse, an apology… I dream of the day when a woman negotiating her contract is the most boring headline of the week. And I dream of the day when safety on set in every sense is not a one-off conversation but something this industry builds as a foundation. We are not there yet. But every woman in this room is part of building it.”
