A quiet expression of love, the Love From Dad collection by De Beers brings a deeply personal touch to natural diamond jewellery, reimagined through delicate second piercing earrings that feel both intimate and modern. Thoughtfully designed to complement the primary piece, these accents add a subtle layer of meaning, turning an everyday ear stack into something truly sentimental.

Crafted with rare natural diamonds, each piece carries a brilliance that goes beyond its sparkle, formed over billions of years; no two diamonds are ever alike. This inherent rarity, paired with understated design, creates a timeless keepsake, an enduring reminder of love that evolves with you, yet never fades.

The Subtle Spark Climber

Delicate and intentional, this trio-inspired diamond stud design is all about quiet brilliance. Set slightly above the primary piercing, it creates a soft, ascending sparkle that feels modern yet understated. Crafted with natural diamonds, each precisely cut to maximise light, this piece offers a refined luminosity. Its balanced composition and gentle brilliance make it a timeless addition, effortlessly elevating everyday styling.

The Diamond Cluster Accent

Playful yet poised, this clustered arrangement brings multiple diamonds together in one luminous expression. Worn as a second piercing, it adds texture and dimension, transforming a classic ear stack into something more personal. Featuring natural diamonds, the clustered setting enhances brilliance through every facet, creating a richer, multi-dimensional sparkle. Its distinctive yet elegant form ensures it remains a timeless statement of individuality

The Bold Floral Stud

Inspired by organic symmetry, this floral-inspired stud blooms with character. Its intricate form contrasts beautifully with a simpler first piercing, creating a curated look that feels expressive and fresh. Set with natural diamonds, each element contributes to a radiant, cohesive sparkle. The interplay of detail and light gives it a one-of-a-kind presence, designed to endure beyond seasonal trends.

The Contemporary Ear Climber

Sculptural and striking, the ear climber redefines how diamonds are worn. Following the natural curve of the ear, it introduces a directional, fashion-forward edge to any stack. Crafted with natural diamonds, its flowing structure amplifies light across the entire silhouette, creating a continuous shimmer. The balance of bold design and classic brilliance makes it a modern heirloom in the making.

The Diamond Drop Huggies

Elegant with a hint of movement, this minimal drop design introduces fluidity into the ear stack. Sitting just below the second piercing, it softens the look with a gentle, graceful sway. Featuring natural diamonds, its simplicity allows inherent brilliance for the natural diamond to take centre stage. The effortless sparkle and refined movement ensure it remains a timeless expression of understated luxury.

The Minimal Duo Studs

Refined in its simplicity, this two-diamond composition offers a quiet yet confident statement. Positioned as a second piercing, it introduces a balanced symmetry that feels both modern and enduring. Crafted with natural diamonds, each element is thoughtfully placed to enhance light while maintaining a clean, minimal aesthetic. Its understated elegance allows it to seamlessly integrate into any ear stack, making it a timeless expression of subtle sophistication.

The Snowflake Diamond Studs

Delicate yet defined, this snowflake-inspired design captures a quiet moment of brilliance. Its intricate arrangement creates a sense of lightness and symmetry, making it a refined accent for a second piercing. Crafted with natural diamonds, each facet reflects light in a soft, diffused shimmer. The detailed composition gives it a one-of-a-kind character, while its quiet brilliance ensures lasting appeal.

The Three Diamond Line Stud

Balanced and refined, this three-diamond composition is arranged in a clean, linear formation that brings a sense of quiet structure to the ear. Worn as a second piercing, it introduces a subtle definition that complements more intricate or minimal pieces alike. Crafted with natural diamonds, each stone is precisely set to create a seamless flow of light across the design. The considered alignment and soft radiance give it a modern yet timeless appeal, making it an effortless addition to a thoughtfully curated ear stack.

Gold Industry Proposes New Strategy To Cut Imports and Boost Local Economy

Precious Metals Refineries Forum (PMRF) Has Proposed A Two-Track System To Manage Gold More Efficiently

Published

on

Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to reduce gold imports and foreign travel, major Indian bullion and jewellery bodies have submitted a new plan to the government and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The strategy aims to lower the nation’s trade deficit by tapping into the estimated 30,000 tonnes of gold sitting in Indian households.

This move comes after India’s gold imports jumped 24% to a record $71.9 billion in the 2025-26 financial year, with over 721 tonnes of gold brought into the country.

The New Strategy: Two Separate Systems

The Precious Metals Refineries Forum (PMRF) has proposed a two-track system to manage gold more efficiently:

  • For Exporters: Imported gold should be strictly saved for jewellery exporters using one-year Gold Metal Loans (GML).
  • For Local Buyers: Domestic demand should be met entirely by recycling household gold. This gold would be collected from citizens, refined locally, and sold back through jewellers and retailers.

Under this plan, people who deposit their idle gold could earn 2% to 2.5% interest, while businesses taking gold loans would pay an interest rate of 3% to 4%.

Fixing Why Past Schemes Failed

Previous government gold schemes failed to gain traction primarily because they left out local jewellers and lacked a proper banking structure. Without a joined-up system, institutions faced high financial risks from changing gold prices.

To fix this, trade bodies are calling for a complete system that includes:

  • Direct involvement of trusted local jewellers. The schemes did not take off in the past because jewellers were not part of them. About 10% to 20% of family gold is held as bars or coins.
  • Strong bank backing and secure storage vaults across the country.
  • Tax incentives, such as removing the 3% GST loss when physical gold is converted into Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR), and offering income tax relief on the interest earned.

Industry Support

Industry experts say a smooth system is already possible. Collection and purity testing centres have confirmed that collected household gold can be processed within 48 hours and safely moved to secure, bank-approved vaults.

Representatives from the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) recently held discussions with RBI officials to fast-track these changes.
