Prada Launches ‘Couleur Vivante’ Collection, Elevating Colour Gemstones in Fine Jewellery
The 2025 collection, co-designed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, highlights vibrant gemstones, architectural silhouettes and blockchain-backed transparency.
Prada has unveiled its latest fine-jewellery offering, ‘Couleur Vivante,’ a 2025 collection that deepens the fashion house’s commitment to the global high-jewellery segment. Introduced across international markets this month, the line blends bold colour narratives with contemporary design sensibilities, marking another significant step in Prada’s jewellery evolution.
Co-created by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the collection spans staples such as solitaire rings, rivière necklaces, line bracelets and drop earrings. True to its name, Couleur Vivante places coloured gemstones at the center of its identity, diverging from the traditional diamond-led aesthetic of many European maisons. The curated palette features amethyst, aquamarine, madeira citrine, morganite and oro-verde peridot — all selected for their chromatic intensity and expressive appeal.
Design elements draw inspiration from Prada’s signature geometric language, including angular silhouettes and asymmetric details that echo the brand’s iconic triangular motif. The pieces are crafted to create a balance between architectural form and gemstone vibrancy.
One of the defining features of the collection is its commitment to transparency. Each jewel is digitally registered through the Aura Blockchain Consortium, allowing consumers to trace gemstone provenance from source to finished piece. In addition, items are accompanied by grading reports from independent gemological laboratories, reflecting the growing demand for verified authenticity among modern luxury buyers.
Industry observers note that Prada’s colour-led strategy aligns with a broader market shift, particularly among younger consumers who favour expressive, non-traditional stones over classic heirloom styles. For retailers, the launch underscores increasing commercial traction in the coloured-gemstone category.
With Couleur Vivante, Prada continues its expansion beyond fashion into high-value jewellery, signalling long-term ambitions in a sector where craftsmanship, innovation and provenance are becoming increasingly crucial.
