The third store in Bangalore, launched today, is the landmark store that makes Indriya hits half century. Shringar House of Mangalsutra expands production with a larger manufacturing facility in Kandivali, Mumbai
Shringar House of Mangalsutra Limited has inaugurated its new manufacturing facility in Kandivali, relocating operations from its previous unit in Lower Parel. This strategic move aims to enhance operational efficiency, upgrade technological and infrastructural capabilities, and significantly boost production capacity. The details of the new facility are provided below.
The new facility at Kandivali covers 16,260 sq. ft. (earlier 8,300 sq. ft) and is expected to enhance production capacity to 4,000 kg (earlier 2,500 kg) per annum. Commercial production from the current capacity has resumed from today i.e. 23rd February, 2026, while the incremental capacity addition is expected to be completed within the next three months. The total investment for the relocation and expansion is approximately Rs. 15 crores, financed through internal accruals, with the objective of increasing capacity, installing advanced machinery, improving efficiency, and meeting growing demand.

Commenting on the relocation, Chetan Thadeshwar, MD Shringar House of Mangalsutra Limited said, “The inauguration of our new Kandivali manufacturing facility marks a significant milestone in our growth journey. Relocating to a larger, technologically advanced unit enables us to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen our infrastructure, and substantially increase our production capacity from 2,500 kg to 4,000 kg. This strategic upgrade positions us to better serve our partners, scale our operations, and meet the rising demand with greater agility and precision.
