CaratLane Unveils ‘Peepal’ – A Festive Collection Inspired by the Sacred Leaf
CaratLane – A TATA Product, India’s leading omnichannel jewellery retailer, has just unveiled its latest collection – Peepal. Arriving just ahead of Dhanteras, the collection’s inspiration is rooted in the calm and grace of the sacred leaf, crafted to shine bright this festive season.
The inspiration is brought to life through a range of diamonds and green alpanites, carefully cut and set in 14KT and 18KT yellow gold, with hints of green rhodium to evoke the natural elegance of the Peepal leaf. The brand has launched a film, beautifully showcasing the inspiration of the jewellery through the serene diya-lit visuals of a Peepal (also known as sacred fig) tree. The brand film depicts how culturally significant and rooted peepal has been in Indian heritage. The jewellery reimagines tradition in a luminous, contemporary form that can be worn on a daily basis or for special occasions.

Speaking on the launch, Saumen Bhaumik – MD, CaratLane, said: “At CaratLane, we’ve always believed that jewellery is more than adornment. Inspired from the sacred leaf of the Peepal – revered as a symbol of divinity, growth and auspicious beginnings – we wanted to bring alive a symbol that has been deeply rooted in our heritage, giving it a contemporary expression. The idea was to create designs that feel festive yet versatile, jewellery that can be loved and treasured for a lifetime, but also worn effortlessly every day.”
Crafted through hours of meticulous artistry, the collection embodies CaratLane’s commitment to blending tradition with contemporary design, creating jewellery that resonates with the spirit of Indian festivities.

We want every touchpoint to honour the modern Indian woman and the rich cultural tapestry she stands for.”

Honouring Light, Victory, and Women’s Strength
The campaign does a great job of combining the meaning of Dussehra (the victory of good over evil) and Diwali (the festival of lights) with modern stories about empowerment, celebration, and the many different lives of Indian women today. Each piece in the collection shows how classic style can work with contemporary design.
The Collection
The Diwali-Dussehra collection features beautiful traditional craftsmanship, bright holiday colours, and modern shapes with classic touches. It is made for the woman who respects her heritage while making her own way.
