With a selection of 52 dealers, 29 Italian and international jewellery retailers and 23 specialist watch retailers, the September edition will be 25% larger than last year, matching the variety of products that visitors were able to enjoy in January.

which organises the event during Vicenzaoro September. “We blend passion, expertise and discovery, creating an environment where the public can approach collecting with greater awareness.”
PRESTIGIOUS VINTAGE JEWELLERY AND WATCHES
From unique 20th-century pieces and valuable icons to watches that have shaped the history of watchmaking, VO Vintage offers a journey through historic companies, rarities and items of particular interest to collectors.

One of the most eagerly awaited returns is Spangaro & Co., which will be back with a preview of its famous The One auction event, adding a further highlight to the exhibition programme for fine watchmaking collectors and enthusiasts.
The pre-owned watch line-up will include Antonio Nocco’s Il Quadrante, Prezioso, Vintage Watches Milano, Gioielleria Cenciarini and Casciola dal 1950.
Vintage jewellery will be represented by Zagari, Neapolitan jewellers who have been specialising in vintage signed jewellery, old-cut diamonds and coloured gemstones for five generations; E.L.A. Antichità from Bergamo, a leading name in Italy amongst enthusiasts of period and vintage jewellery for 25 years; and the I Santi Medici art gallery in La Spezia, which deals in period jewellery from aristocratic collections.
For collectors who place particular emphasis on the quality of stones and gems, Italian Vintage Jewellery from Crema, founded by two gemmologists with experience in international diamond and jewellery companies, will be in attendance.
From the Netherlands, EL&L Finery, run by Lisa Finkelman van der Plas, who, following in her family’s footsteps, is renowned for collectable European pieces ranging from late 19th to early 20th-century antiques to vintage items from the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s.
New entries will include Thomas Huijbrechts, also from the Netherlands, Twinkle D from Monaco, and Nishyda, Daniel Nessim, Excellent Diamond and Fabiani Group from Italy.
A WEEKEND OF PASSION AND INFORMATION
VO Vintage also asserts its identity through a programme of events. An integral part of the experience is its agenda of meetings, talks and in-depth sessions that offer the chance to gain a first-hand understanding of the timepiece world’s history, craftsmanship and evolution as well as to delve into the universe of collecting, not only through the rare pieces on display, but also through the stories and the people involved.
On Saturday, 5th September, Dody Giussani, editor of L’Orologio magazine, and Pietro Pannone, founder of Ghiera Orologi and co-author of the Laboratorio podcast, will be recording a live episode on the theme Watchmaking that speaks Italian to the world dedicated to the challenges of managing a major watchmaking group: from distribution to the differentiated management of licences and in-house brands.
Massimo Carraro, President and CEO of the Morellato Group, will be taking part in a discussion on the business model of a group that now boasts 14 in-house brands, 7 licensed brands and 5 distributed brands, including Sector, Philip Watch, Karl Lagerfeld, Maserati, Fossil, Emporio Armani and Diesel.
The event aims to highlight the increasingly central role of outreach and community building in the contemporary watchmaking world by comparing expertise, experience and new ways of enhancing watch culture.
The Watch of the Year 2026 awards ceremony (on invitation only), an award assigned by L’Orologio magazine readers, will take place in the evening.
On Sunday, Irene Baiardi, watchmaker and Chamber of Commerce-accredited expert at Gioielleria Orologeria Baiardi Andrea in Bologna, will present The Art of the Chronograph: iconic companies, mechanics and a glossary for collectors, an in-depth exploration of how the chronograph works through the process of reassembly, covering both the mechanisms and history of watchmaking, to delve into the chronograph’s appeal and tradition.
Watch Insanity will be presenting two events. Editor-in-chief Michele Mengoli and publisher Jacopo Giudici will be bringing DEEP-X to VO Vintage, the collective project celebrating Watch Insanity’s 10th anniversary with a one-of-a-kind timepiece and an ultra-personalized Made in Italy movement, outlined by Riccardo Paradisi, founder of Paradisi Watches, Giancarlo Rota, operations director at Oisa 1937, and watch designer, Carmelo Amalfi (Saturday).
On Sunday, the event entitled The Italian micro-brand out to conquer the world will focus on Venezianico, a company that has achieved a turnover of 15 million euros and an annual production of around 40,000 watches.

GJEPC Auckland Visit Targets Growth In India-NZ Jewellery Trade
The Opportunity In New Zealand Is Significant Relative To The Current Level Of Jewellery Trade. India’s Gem and Jewellery Exports To New Zealand Rose 50.56% To US$25.46 Million In FY2025-26, From US$16.91 Million In FY2024-25.
The GJEPC trade delegation’s Auckland programme has highlighted the scope for expanding India’s gem and jewellery exports to New Zealand as the two countries move towards implementing their recently concluded Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
The Auckland visit was part of GJEPC’s Australia and New Zealand trade delegation, held from 20-26 August 2026, with the delegation focused on connecting Indian manufacturers and exporters with buyers and industry stakeholders across the two markets.
The opportunity in New Zealand is significant relative to the current level of jewellery trade. India’s gem and jewellery exports to New Zealand rose 50.56% to US$25.46 million in FY2025-26, from US$16.91 million in FY2024-25.
The recently concluded India-New Zealand FTA is expected to create further opportunities for Indian exporters. New Zealand has committed to duty-free access for Indian exports across 100% of its tariff lines once the agreement enters into force.
On 26th August, Vijay Mangukiya, Convener – International Events, GJEPC and leader of the delegation, met Dr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India in Auckland. Mangukiya has said the delegation was aimed at bringing Indian manufacturers and exporters closer to buyers and industry stakeholders in both Australia and New Zealand, with the objective of identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term partnerships.
The delegation’s Auckland market visits covered a broad cross-section of the local jewellery sector, including Michael Hill, Wallace Bishop, Hardy Brothers, Prouds, and Partridge Jewellers. The delegation also observed international luxury and contemporary jewellery brands including Van Cleef & Arpels, Roberto Coin, Messika and FOPE, reflecting the competitive environment in which Indian exporters would be seeking to establish or expand relationships.
India’s exports of individual jewellery categories to New Zealand also recorded strong growth in FY2025-26. Gold jewellery exports rose 84% to US$17.47 million, while silver jewellery exports doubled to US$0.91 million. Lab-grown diamond exports rose 2% to US$0.63 million, and imitation jewellery increased 13.16% to US$0.43 million. Cut and polished diamond exports were US$5.76 million.
The figures underline the growing contribution of finished jewellery to India’s New Zealand business. With the FTA expected to improve market access and the Auckland market showing demand across gold, diamonds, coloured stones, pearls and branded jewellery, GJEPC’s delegation is seeking to convert this existing growth into deeper commercial relationships.
