Radhakrishna Jewellery launched a new jewellery line, ‘Unakoti Treasures’, inspired by the historical monument of Unakoti in Tripura. The collection aims to promote the State’s cultural and spiritual heritage while offering customers jewellery that reflects this tradition. Unakoti was recognized last year as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The collection draws inspiration from Unakoti, according to legend the gathering place of one crore gods and goddesses, where due to the curse of Shiva, one less than one crore, i.e, 99,99,999 gods and goddesses were transformed into stone idols. This amazing story and the skilful carving of the idols have been adapted into Unakoti Treasures.

The highlight of the collection is a unique necklace, numerically linked to Jupiter, the planet of prosperity, good fortune, and knowledge. It weighs 46.5 grams and is crafted in 22-carat gold, with 327 pearls. The numerical mystery (3+2+7=12, 1+2=3) reveals the magical number 3. In astrology, thisnumber is associated with Jupiter-the planet of prosperity, good fortune, and knowledge. A symbol of success, opulence, and dignity, this creation is not just an ornament; it spreads the glow of Jupiter’s blessings in the life of the wearer.

Behind the design and concept of this unique collection is Nandadulal Debnath, the third generation successor of Radhakrishna Jewellery. After completing his graduation in Jewelry Design from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Mumbai, he tried to express the folk art and spiritual heritage of Tripura in the language of jewelry-and the result is ‘Unkoti Treasures’.

Radhakrishna Jewellery is largest jewellery retail chain in Tripura with 6 stores at Ushabazar, Airport Road,Sakuntala Road, Agartala, Udaipur, Gomati Tripura , Dharmanagar, North Tripura,Belonia, South Tripura,Polo Central Mall, Agartala, West Tripura

India’s pioneering luxury jewellery designer collaborates with Nawaz Modi Singhania to launch a limited-edition wearable art piece—marking her first creation designed for a broader collector community.

Poonam Soni, one of India’s most celebrated jewellery visionaries, has introduced her latest innovation—the Brace-Watch, a bracelet crafted like a timepiece and adorned with miniature art by Nawaz Modi Singhania. The launch revives their artistic partnership that began in 2011 with the iconic S2 cuffs.

The Brace-Watch features hand-painted discs of tigers, jaguars, and big cats, encased within a monochromatic, jewel-laden bracelet framed by tightly stacked baguette-cut stones in striking red, green, or cobalt blue.

For the first time in her 36-year career, Poonam Soni steps beyond one-of-a-kind heirloom creations to present a collectible accessible to a wider audience of art and design enthusiasts—a milestone for the House of Poonam Soni. Each piece takes nearly eight months to craft, merging Nawaz’s intricate miniature work with Soni’s sculptural design language.

Her illustrious legacy includes collaborations with masters such as Laxman Shreshtha, a showcase at Harrods, international acclaim, and over 150 awards—earning her the moniker “India’s Coco Chanel.” With daughter Kriti Soni joining the maison, the brand is set to carry forward its philosophy of artistic preservation and modern Indian luxury.
