Iconic Jewels By Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla – Dimple Kapadia Mesmerises In Their First-Ever Jewellery Collection

Celebrating 40 Years Of Design, The Couture Maestros Unveil A Jewellery Debut Inspired By Their Creative Legacy, With Eternal Muse Dimple Kapadia As The Face Of The Collection

After recently celebrating their 40th anniversary, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla drop their debut jewellery collection and it is exactly what you’d expect from the maestros of maximalism. Conceived as a work of art, Iconic Jewels by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla is a brilliant new chapter that illuminates their design legacy with the same creative philosophy that has enabled the most unforgettable couture creations in their atelier.

Dimple Kapadia, their eternal muse, returns as the face of this dazzling line, and she sparkles with the same hypnotic allure as the jewels she adorns. Seen in the Abad, Roshnai, Talismati, Junoon ranges, she is the epitome of taste and beauty.

Dimple’s association with Abu and Sandeep goes back decades, when she was one of the first clients to walk into Mata Hari, the debut boutique by “The Boys”, as they were fondly referred to at the time. Over the years, she has remained a muse and a friend to the house, bringing her own unmistakable presence to its creations. Her return as the face of their first ever jewellery collection feels like a natural continuation of this enduring relationship.

THE COLLECTION

Each range of Iconic Jewels by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla draws personal inspiration from the duo’s creative legacy:

The Abad Collection is inspired by Patola embroidery. Crafted in 18-karat gold, Zambian emeralds, Mozambique rubies and multicoloured sapphires, their radiant accents capture embroidery motifs with impossible precision.

The Roshnai Collection, inspired by the intricacy of Chikankari, is a symphony of diamonds and pearls set in Mughal-inspired motifs.

The Rudra and Taweez Collections carry mystical influences expressed in diamonds, rubies and gold. From Shiva’s eye to the protective symbol of the Taweez, the pieces are not only reflections of taste, but symbols of substance.

The Junoon Collection, crafted with emeralds and rubies, is a glorious ode to our inner fire, symbolised through the intricate scales of a dragon.

Every piece not only tells a story, it conveys the very principles on which the atelier of AJSK stands.

Abu and Sandeep commented:

“Like couture, jewellery is all about expressing who you are. Your taste indicates the way you see the world and it’s the most beautiful way of finding your people. For Iconic Jewels, we have poured years of vision into creating something that is forever. And we couldn’t have asked for a better muse than Dimple. After all, she is the pinnacle of eternal beauty.”

Abu Jani has always been a celebrated symbol of how men, too, can enjoy jewellery. His collection of jewellery and memorable brooches feature the most indulgent pieces. Both he and Sandeep effortlessly bring their maximal sensibilities to the new collection, delivering pieces that are truly remarkable.

Dimple, being a collector herself, added:

“Iconic Jewels by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla is an absolute feast. The workmanship carries the same uncompromising quality as their couture. From modelling their first ever Chikankari collection in 1993 to being the face of their jewellery in 2026, we have grown together as humans, as friends, and everything is just as fabulous as ever. Be it clothes or jewellery, Abu and Sandeep always know how to make a woman feel her absolute best.”

The collection is on display at the jewellery vault at Mubarak Baug, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s recently launched flagship store in South Mumbai.

The vault’s design is an architectural marvel in itself, with the entire structure shaped like a diamond. This geometric silhouette is crowned by intricate lotus motifs, blending sharp, modern lines with the house’s signature floral motifs.

The design is a literal tribute to the art of gem-cutting. Every angle of the room reflects the precision found in high jewellery, creating a thematic bridge between the architecture and the treasures held within.

By housing these precious collections within a “diamond”, the store creates a symbolic layer of protection and prestige, offering an environment where the light and clarity of the gems take centre stage. This specialised chamber ensures the jewellery is not merely displayed, but enshrined within a space that mirrors its own brilliance and value.

Sandeep adds,“It was a pleasure to once again work with our dear friend, Dimple. She understands who we are and brings that depth to every image. This jewellery campaign did not feel like work at all, but a celebration of true friendship and glamour.”
