P N Gadgil & Sons Opens New Showroom At Amanora Mall, Hadapsar, Pune
The 194-Year-Old Jewellery House Extends Its East Pune Presence With A Store Built Around Purity, Transparency and Lifelong Customer Relationships
P. N. Gadgil & Sons (PNGS), one of India’s oldest and most trusted jewellery houses, opened its newest showroom at Amanora Mall, Hadapsar, Pune, in the first week of July. The launch, held on 7th July, was attended by customers, well-wishers and members of the PNGS family, and marks a further deepening of the brand’s presence in the city where its story began.
Founded in 1832, P. N. Gadgil & Sons carries a 194-year legacy that has been built less on expansion and more on the relationships it has held across generations. For families in Maharashtra, a visit to PNGS has traditionally marked a milestone: a wedding, a first gold purchase for a child, a festival, a homecoming. The new Amanora showroom has been designed to carry that same sense of occasion into a modern retail environment.

A value system before a product line
At the centre of the PNGS proposition is a set of commitments the brand has held consistently through nearly two centuries of business: absolute purity in every piece, complete transparency in pricing and weight, craftsmanship that is documented rather than claimed, and a service relationship that continues long after the purchase is made. For a category where the customer is often making one of the largest purchases of their life, PNGS has built its reputation on removing doubt from the transaction.
The new showroom houses the brand’s full range of gold, diamond and silver jewellery, spanning bridal collections, festive and occasion wear, and lighter everyday pieces for younger customers. Trained consultants are on hand to guide customers through purity standards, certification and design choices, with dedicated space for bridal consultations.
Speaking on the launch, Aditya Modak, CFO & COO, P. N. Gadgil & Sons, said:

“Pune is home, and every showroom we open here is watched closely by customers who have known this brand for three and four generations. That is a good discipline to have. What we have carried into Amanora is not a new format but an old promise that what you are told about a piece of jewellery is exactly what you are buying, at a price you can see the working of. In 194 years, the designs have changed with every generation. The value system has not. We are glad to bring it to a part of Pune that has been asking us for it.”
Hadapsar and the wider East Pune corridor have grown into one of the city’s most active residential and retail catchments, and the new showroom allows PNGS to serve a customer base that has expanded significantly over the past decade without requiring them to travel across the city.
