Over 1,00,000+ unique designs to add sparkle to 15th edition of HJF
The Hyderabad Jewellery, Pearl and Gem Fair (HJF 2023), the most awaited and premium jewellery trade show of South India, is back in the city of Pearls in its 15th milestone edition. The turnkey exhibition will be held between the 9th – 11th of June 2023 at HICC, Novotel, Hitech City. The flagship show, organised by Informa Markets in India, India’s leading B2B exhibitions organiser, is being held in association with Hitech City Jewellery Manufacturers Association (HJMA) and,for the first time, India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA).
The trade show will be a three-day glittering trade extravaganza for India’s leading jewellers in the City of Pearls at the HICC Novotel Hyderabad with • Over 650 brands, 8,000 plus professionals, after-hours networking & fashion show and power-packed conferences will add glitter to the show
This celebrates a 15 years of legacy and trust being celebrated with a strategic alliance between Informa Markets in India, and key associations HJMA and IBJA
Commenting on the maiden association with HJF at a Press Meet held in Hyderabad today , Chetan Kumar Mehta – National Vice-President, India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd. 3,900-Square-Foot India Pavilion Features 33 Premier Member Exporters
The GJEPC marked its 21st consecutive year at JCK Las Vegas 2026 by organising a massive 3,900-square-foot India Pavilion under the “Brilliant Bharat” initiative. Featuring 33 premier member exporters across Levels 1 and 2, the pavilion became an immediate focal point for international retail buyers.
This strategic grouping directly elevated the visibility of Indian craftsmanship, positioning the country not merely as an automated back-end supplier, but as a major driver of modern global jewellery trends.
Rather than acting as a traditional, back-end manufacturing hub, the pavilion rebranded India as the true driver of modern global design. The result? A stunningly robust flow of orders and enquiries from major US retail chains, independent boutiques, and e-commerce giants.
The defining narrative of the 2026 show was strategic evolution. Indian manufacturers have successfully bifurcated the diamond market, creating completely separate, highly efficient pipelines for natural and laboratory-grown stones.
In the natural diamond sector, buyers looking for long-term stores of value gravitated toward trusted heritage names. There was significant retail traction for rare, GIA-certified investment-grade stones. And heavy, elongated fancy shapes like ovals, marquises, and emerald cuts.
On the flip side of the coin, the laboratory-grown diamond (LGD) sector was an absolute beehive of activity.–, they captured the fashion and accessible bridal markets by showcasing striking fancy-colored LGDs in vibrant pinks, blues, and yellows—a massive hit for budget-conscious commercial retail chains.
Furthermore, the “India Design Gallery,” located at the Level 1 Lobby, acted as a vital visual anchor, drawing interest from visitors from high-end boutiques.
