NAC Jewellers has officially kicked off its much-anticipated 2025 U.S. roadshow with an opening event in Milpitas, California, held on April 12 and 13. The tour brings the elegance and legacy of NAC’s jewellery to Indian communities across America, blending heritage craftsmanship with modern aesthetics to cater to a wide spectrum of style sensibilities.

The roadshow features a handpicked collection of jewellery that pays homage to India’s rich cultural heritage while embracing contemporary design. In a unique collaboration with Patterns Hyderabad, a trendsetting ethnic wear brand, NAC Jewellers is offering attendees an elevated shopping experience that combines jewellery with fashion-forward Indian attire.

Following the successful Milpitas launch, the roadshow continues through:

One of the key highlights is the special showcase in Edison, New Jersey, on April 30, in honor of Akshaya Tritiya, a festival regarded as one of the most auspicious days for purchasing gold and embarking on new beginnings. NAC will unveil exclusive designs during this event, emphasizing jewellery with both spiritual resonance and exceptional craftsmanship.

At each stop, customers can engage directly with jewellery experts, explore styling ideas, and experience NAC’s signature collections firsthand—making the roadshow not just a shopping event, but a celebration of culture and community.

Further expanding its brand footprint, NAC Jewellers recently partnered with MenoParty 2025, a unique initiative aimed at breaking the stigma around menopause. This collaboration reflects the brand’s evolving commitment to connecting with women through authentic and empathetic engagement.

Founded in 1917 by Nathella Narayana Chetty, and expanded by his son Nathella Anantham Chetty, NAC Jewellers today operates 11 stores across Chennai and a flagship showroom in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. With its 2025 U.S. roadshow, NAC continues to honor its century-old legacy while embracing global horizons.

Gold prices were largely unchanged at the open on India’s Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Tuesday, as investors weighed persistent geopolitical tensions in the Middle East against shifting expectations for global monetary policy.

The MCX gold May futures contract edged up 0.01% to Rs. 1,52,417 per 10 grams in early trade, while silver for May delivery declined 0.55% to Rs. 2,51,160 per kilogram. The muted start followed a cautious global tone, with bullion markets struggling to find direction amid conflicting macro signals.

Internationally, spot gold held above the $4,800-an-ounce mark in early trading but later slipped about 0.5%, even as crude oil prices fell nearly 1%. Spot silver also weakened, dropping roughly 1%. The divergence underscores a market caught between safe-haven demand and rising concerns over tighter financial conditions.

Investor sentiment remains tethered to developments around the Strait of Hormuz, a critical artery for global energy supplies. Escalating tensions in the region have fueled fears of a prolonged disruption, amplifying inflationary pressures at a time when central banks are already navigating a delicate policy balance.
