Jagannath Gangaram Pednekar (JGP) Jewellers has opened its 26th store in Nipani on October 11, 2026, marking the brand’s first-ever retail presence in Karnataka. Located near the Maharashtra–Karnataka border, the new store marks an important milestone in the brand’s retail expansion, bringing its jewellery collections to customers in a new market.

The Nipani store launch also witnessed a strong customer response to JGP’s heritage-inspired jewellery. A statement necklace from the brand’s Rajeshahi collection, which was featured prominently as part of the store-opening communication, was purchased within just seven days of the store’s opening. The piece was among the key showcase designs brought to the new store, making its early sale a notable start for JGP’s Karnataka debut.

As part of the launch-month celebrations, JGP Jewellers has also introduced a special lucky draw exclusively for customers making purchases at the Nipani store during the month. Ten winners will be selected, with prizes including gold coins worth Rs 50,000, Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000 and other denominations, adding a celebratory element to the store-opening experience.

Speaking about the expansion, Sanika Pednekar, Creative Director, JGP Jewellers, said:

“Entering Karnataka with our first store in Nipani is a significant milestone for JGP Jewellers. We have always believed that jewellery is deeply connected to relationships, celebrations and personal milestones, and our aim is to bring that same experience to every market we enter. The response to the Rajeshahi piece within the first week has been particularly encouraging and reinforces our belief that customers in the region appreciate both the craftsmanship and heritage behind our jewellery.”

With the Karnataka launch, JGP Jewellers continues to build on its retail expansion while bringing its heritage-led approach to jewellery retail to new markets. The brand currently has a network of stores across Maharashtra and Goa and continues to explore opportunities to strengthen its presence across markets.
