GJEPC Strengthens Thailand Trade Ties With Embassy Backing For IIJS Bharat

GJEPC met officials at the Embassy of India in Bangkok during a courtesy visit to strengthen trade engagement between India and Thailand and expand promotional efforts for IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026.

The meeting was attended by Jagpreet Kaur, Head of the Economic & Commerce Wing, Mr. Navin Bhardwaj, Attaché (Economic & Commerce), and Tarun Mangal, Assistant Attaché (Economic & Commerce).

Discussions focused on the current India-Thailand gem and jewellery trade scenario, increasing Thai participation at the September Bangkok jewellery show, and promoting IIJS Bharat 2026 among Thailand’s jewellery industry.

Kaur assured the Embassy’s full support in promoting IIJS Bharat Premiere. The Embassy will facilitate outreach by sharing information on the show with Thailand’s jewellery trade through its database and requested GJEPC’s social media links to amplify IIJS Bharat promotions across its official communication channels

GJEPC Delegation Outreach In Sydney Strengthens India–Australia Jewellery Trade Ties

GJEPC’s Sydney leg brought together 32 participants, including 15 representatives from 9 leading jewellery brands, 8 visiting delegation members, CG Office representatives and event partners.

The outreach connected Indian exporters with Australia’s independent jewellery network through a day of industry engagement, showroom visits and business interactions.

The programme included visits to Altmann & Cherny, ABC Showroom and Queen Victoria Building, followed by the official delegation dinner at Doltone House.

Participating jewellery brands: Excellent Jewellers, Altmann & Cherny, Roberto Mattei Jewellery Design, Ashmi Jewellers, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Nicole Winkler Jewellery, Joyalukkas, RB Diamonds and Lords Jewellers.

With India’s gems & jewellery exports to Australia reaching US$374.33 million in FY2025–26, the Sydney outreach further strengthened industry connections and explored new opportunities under the India–Australia ECTA.
