Georgina Rodríguez’s $55 Million Diamond Moment at Her Wedding to Cristiano Ronaldo
The bride wore more than 250 carats of Chopard diamonds, including a spectacular 50-carat Garden of Kalahari centerpiece created from the legendary Queen of Kalahari rough
Georgina Rodríguez brought extraordinary jewellery glamour to her intimate wedding with football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, wearing more than 250 carats of Chopard diamonds estimated by Page Six Style at up to $55 million.

The couple married on August 11, 2026, in an intimate ceremony at their home in Cascais, Portugal, surrounded by their five children. The date also marked 10 years since Rodríguez and Ronaldo first met at a Gucci store in Madrid. Despite the understated setting and simple Gucci attire, Rodríguez’s jewellery brought a spectacular dose of high jewellery to the occasion.
The centrepiece of her bridal jewellery was Chopard’s Garden of Kalahari necklace, featuring an exceptional 50-carat D-flawless brilliant-cut diamond surrounded by more than 146 carats of additional diamonds. The necklace was complemented by detachable pieces featuring a 25-carat pear-shaped diamond and a 26-carat heart-shaped diamond, which Rodríguez wore as earrings. She also added a Chopard bracelet and diamond rings, alongside her engagement ring.
The Garden of Kalahari collection has an extraordinary origin story. It was created from the 342-carat Queen of Kalahari, an exceptionally rare rough diamond discovered at the Karowe mine in Botswana. Chopard transformed the rough into 23 diamonds, including five stones weighing more than 20 carats, which became the foundation for six high-jewellery creations.
Among these stones is the collection’s iconic 50-carat brilliant-cut diamond, designed as the centre of a sunflower-inspired jewel. Other major stones include a 26-carat heart-shaped diamond, a 25-carat pear-shaped diamond, a 21-carat emerald-cut diamond and a 20-carat cushion-cut diamond.

The Garden of Kalahari jewels have already made a high-profile appearance: the 50-carat necklace was previously worn by Beyoncé at the 2025 Met Gala, further cementing its status among the world’s most remarkable contemporary high-jewellery pieces.
While published estimates of the jewellery’s value vary, with some reports putting the complete ensemble substantially higher, $55 million is the widely cited estimate for the jewellery Rodríguez wore for the wedding. The figure underscores the extraordinary rarity and scale of the diamonds, even as the couple chose an intentionally private and intimate wedding celebration.

Van Cleef & Arpels Gives Its Iconic Alhambra a Pink Enamel Makeover
The Maison Introduces Five New Alhambra Creations Featuring Translucent Pink Enamel and Yellow Gold
Van Cleef & Arpels has unveiled a vibrant new chapter for its iconic Alhambra collection, introducing translucent pink enamel to the signature four-leaf clover motif for the first time. The new creations combine the Maison’s emblem of luck with yellow gold, bringing a fresh, contemporary expression to the enduring design.
The new five-piece selection comprises a Vintage Alhambra pendant, five-motif bracelet, 10-motif necklace, 20-motif long necklace and Magic Alhambra two-motif earrings. The earrings additionally feature guilloché yellow gold, adding texture and contrast to the pink enamel.

The distinctive pink is the result of several years of research at Van Cleef & Arpels’ enamel workshops. Inspired by the historic 17th-century “gold-ruby” technique, the colour is created using fine particles of gold rather than traditional pigments. Carefully controlled particle size, shape and concentration produce the desired translucent hue.
Adding to its visual depth, the enamel contains tiny bubbles, giving each Alhambra motif a distinctive character while creating subtle variations as the surface catches and reflects light. The motifs are framed by the Maison’s signature gold beaded contours, further enhancing the interplay between the pink enamel and yellow gold.
Since its debut in 1968, Alhambra has continually evolved through different stones, materials and colours while retaining its instantly recognisable four-leaf clover silhouette. The introduction of enamel marks another significant step in that evolution, bringing together heritage craftsmanship, technical innovation and contemporary colour.
With its new pink interpretation, Van Cleef & Arpels continues to reinvent one of jewellery’s most recognisable motifs, demonstrating how traditional savoir-faire can give a familiar icon an entirely new expression.
