Alia Bhatt Stuns At Cannes Film Festival 2026, Elevating Contemporary Elegance With Aesthetic Creations From Malabar Gold & Diamonds
Adorned In Bespoke Sapphire and Diamond Creations By Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Alia Bhatt Brought Indian Craftsmanship and Contemporary Luxury To The Global Cannes Red Carpet
Cine actor Alia Bhatt made a striking appearance at the 79th Cannes Film Festival wearing bespoke sapphire and diamond jewellery from Malabar Gold & Diamonds, bringing together refined craftsmanship and contemporary elegance on one of the world’s most recognised red carpets.

Styled in a custom ensemble by Rhea Kapoor, Alia Bhatt paired her Cannes look with a curated selection of high jewellery pieces featuring Ceylon sapphires and diamonds from Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
The jewellery selection featured Malabar Gold and Diamond’s sapphire and diamond creations, including statement earrings, sapphire rings, and a diamond pendant designed with contemporary detailing and precision craftsmanship. Together, the pieces reflected a balance of sophistication, gemstone artistry, and understated luxury.

Highlights from the curated edit included the White Quartz Briolette Earrings, featuring 3-carat pear-shaped earrings with white quartz briolettes that reveal remarkable precision through their fluid cuts, designed to move effortlessly with light.
Adding depth to the styling were statement rings including the Ceylon Sapphire Oval Ring, where an 8-carat oval Ceylon sapphire reveals ocean-blue depth, encircled by brilliant round diamonds that sharpen its colour and fire. The look also featured the Pear-Shaped Ceylon Sapphire Ring, showcasing 8.8 carats of Ceylon sapphire, reminiscent of a falling raindrop, revealing remarkable depth and clarity.
Completing the look was the Pear-Shaped Diamond Pendant, a 4-carat pear-shaped diamond suspended in perfect balance, its elongated form creating a refined stream of light.
The Cannes Film Festival appearance highlighted Malabar Gold & Diamonds continued focus on fine craftsmanship, gemstone quality, and contemporary design interpretation, while showcasing the growing global presence of Indian jewellery artistry across international fashion and cultural platforms.
Commenting on the collaboration, M. P. Ahammad, Chairman, Malabar Group, said,

“Cannes Film Festival represents a global platform where fashion, artistry, and craftsmanship come together. Through this collaboration with Alia Bhatt, we wanted to present jewellery that reflects timeless elegance while showcasing the finesse and design excellence associated with Malabar Gold & Diamonds.”
The appearance marks another milestone in Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ continued engagement with global fashion and luxury platforms, further strengthening the brand’s international positioning.
