Alia Bhatt made a striking impression at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute benefit gala this year following the “The Garden of Time” theme and mesmerised onlookers in an exquisite floral sari by designer Sabyasachi. he accompanying blouse adorned with emeralds, Basra pearls, tourmalines, and multi-colored sapphires added a touch of regal elegance.
The actress mentioned that it took a collective effort of 163 dedicated individuals, including master craftspeople, embroiderers, artists, and dyers, investing a total of 1965-man hours to create the ethereal sari with floral details.
